Ivey Homes' Q1 2025 Giving Total: $17,150

The Buy Ivey, Build Community campaign highlights two local area charities each quarter. Every buyer gets to select where a donation will be made on their behalf at their home closing. This gives Ivey a chance to support more local missions while giving local homeowners a look at important needs in the Augusta River Region.

The Buy Ivey, Build Community initiative began in 2021. In our four years thus far, Ivey has given almost $250k to local charities. Read on below to find out which charities were highlighted in the first quarter of 2025 and how much money was raised to fund their respective missions in our community.

SafeHomes Domestic Violence Center Received $9,100

SafeHomes of Augusta Domestic Violence Center impacts the lives of more than 2,000 individuals and their families each year. Their programs serve women, men and children, with the ability to shelter up to 24 individuals in emergency shelter. Beyond sheltering, SafeHomes also offers essential aid to non-residential victims of violence through outreach.

The Family YMCA Youth Sports Division Received $8,050

The Greater Augusta YMCA mission is to serve individuals and families in the CSRA through programs designed to build healthy spirit, mind and body, reflecting the values of the Judeo-Christian tradition while maintaining respect for all people. The youth sports division focuses on teaching values & positive behaviors.
