Buy Ivey Build Community: Annual Giving Totals
Ivey Homes' 2024 Giving Total: $96,500
The Buy Ivey, Build Community campaign highlights two local area charities each quarter where a donation is made with each home closed. A special part of the campaign is that new Ivey homeowners get to direct where their home’s donation funds will go. This gives Ivey a chance to support more local missions while giving local homeowners a look at important needs in the Augusta River Region.
The Buy Ivey, Build Community began in 2021. In our four years thus far, Ivey has given $247,500 to local charities. 2024's local charities included: American Heart Association, Reaching Hands Adoption Ministry of Warren Church, Fort Eisenhower Christmas House, Paceline of Georgia Cancer Center, Child Enrichment of the CSRA, Fisher House, The Alzheimer's Association, and The Family YMCA.
The Fort Eisenhower Christmas House Received $9,450
The Christmas House was established in 1966 when a group of Fort Gordon nurses hosted a teddy bear drive to ensure the children of deployed soldiers received a Christmas gift. The Christmas House assists struggling lower enlisted Fort Gordon families of all branches of service. The official tagline, “Giving Joy and New Toys to Our Military Families” provides a framework for their mission.
Paceline Received $10,000
Paceline Ride is a movement of communities and organizations striving toward a common goal: cure cancer faster. 100% of all fundraising supports critical research and survivorship at the Georgia Cancer Center. The Georgia Cancer Center’s mission is to reduce the burden of cancer in the State of Georgia and across the globe through superior care, innovation, and education.
Warren Missions – Reaching Hands Adoption Ministry Received $6,650
Reaching Hands ministers to Christian families in the CSRA who are pursuing domestic or international adoptions. The decision to adopt is an exciting display of compassion and love…but the process itself can be daunting. Reaching Hands provides information and encouragement as families navigate through the various steps in the journey.
The American Heart Association Received $9,450
The American Heart Association is relentlessly focused on the heart of our community in the CSRA. Throughout the year, we celebrate our collective success in driving change, funding science and improving health outcomes for everyone, everywhere.
Child Enrichment, Inc Received $11,600
Child Enrichment's mission is to provide and coordinate comprehensive intervention, stabilization, advocacy, and prevention in the best interests of abandoned, abused, neglected, sexually abused, and sex-trafficked children in the Augusta River Region.
Fort Eisenhower Fisher House Foundation Received $7,700
Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. They also operate the Hero Miles and Hotels for Heroes programs, using donated frequent flyer miles and hotel points to bring families to the bedside of injured service members.
Alzheimer's Association Received $7,000
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
