Standing Strong After Hurricane Helene
Building Strong. Standing Strong.
As the entire Augusta River Region recovers and rebuilds from Hurricane Helene's arrival just a week ago, we have much to be grateful for at Ivey Homes.
First, the brave and tireless work of so many first responders, linemen, tree clearing crews, volunteers, and organizations that sprang into action immediately to ensure our city was safe and stable. In the aftermath of this devastating storm, we've seen so many examples of community and it warms our hearts to watch our neighbors and community come together.
Second, we are all safe and getting power back to our office and model homes. While our main office has power and internet fully restored, our model homes are working to get back online now that they have power fully restored.
Lastly, but certainly not least, we are proud and grateful to report that Ivey homes sustained minimal to no damage in each community where we are currently building. Those homes that are currently under contract and being built withstood the strong storm winds and we are incredibly grateful that though some trees did fall in and around our communities, they did minimal damage to anyone's homes.
Ivey Homes, now and always, is committed to building a better home for these exact reasons. We want our homeowners to feel peace of mind from the moment they choose their home. We know your family's safety, well-being and comfort are the utmost priority, so we make it our priority to exceed building industry standards. Our hearts were warmed to hear reports from some Ivey homeowners that even without power for days, the temperatures in their homes were moderate. This is our energy-efficient building standard in action.
To all current and future Ivey homeowners, we hope you are safe and well at this time, and that you continue to have peace of mind and comfort building your lives in your own Ivey home. Take care and be safe.
Sincerely,
The Ivey Homes Team
